This is a wonderful opportunity to study the Bhagavad Gita with the much loved and respected Sarah Ryan.
This study day will take place at Poole Yoga centre and is open to all serious yoga students, teachers and trainee teachers looking to develop their experience and update their knowledge. This in-service training day (IST) counts towards your Continued Personal Development (CPD) points.
Sarah has practiced yoga for more than 50 years . Sarah is a teacher, trainer and therapist in the tradition of Krishnamacharya. She also teaches Vedic Chant and Mantra.
She was a Diploma Course Tutor for the British Wheel of Yoga and a Chair of its Education Committee for three years. Sarah teaches classes, including one for people with Multiple Sclerosis; a small group which meets regularly to discuss the yoga sutra; and on a one to one basis, whether people’s prime need is Yoga as a therapy, or for personal development. She co-founded Yoga Journey, a course for existing yoga teachers who want to study, practise and teach in the tradition of Desikachar and his father, Professor Krishnamacharya.
She lives in Milborne St Andrew, Blandford, Dorset.

1220. Meditative practice
200 Discussion of ideas about meditation and pranayama
240 Pranayama and meditative practice
315 Discussion of ideas about bhakti yoga
350 Evaluation and closing.
Please bring your mat block etc. for yoga practice, comfort and ease.
Please bring your copy of the Bhagavad Gita, a pen and paper and something vegetarian to share for lunch. Teas and refreshments are available.
