Holistic Massage
Is a fusion of traditional styles of massage and energy work working within the philosophy of treating the mind body and spirit as one. It will help to reduce stress and detoxify the body.
Massage has been used in every culture throughout the ages, in some form, for as long as humankind has been around. The holistic approach to massage is a way of looking at the person as a whole so as to address any ailments that are presenting as being interlinked so that physical pain may be associated with mental stress or emotional upset as much as any physical pressure. The treatment will be applied to address release on any of these levels.
It is believed that tissues and cells in the body have memory of past events and can be held in certain focal points, allowing time and giving care and attention through touch, can facilitate movement of often very stuck patterns. Holistic massage will help to do this in a very natural way.

What happens during a treatment
The client will receive a full body massage with oils and can have an Aromatherapy blend if desired. They will be undressed down to underwear within their personal comfort zone and appropriately draped with towels at all times. We can often find that buried feelings or even memories can surface which can make a person tearful. Staying with these feelings will allow you to process and integrate these.
